On 28 September 2023, the Walking as Research Practice (WARP) Research Group of the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis will present the Special Issue WARP x Soapbox Journal book at ENTER ENTER ‘A Space For Books’, Amsterdam, during the bring your own book exhibition followed by drinks.
The form, design and production of the book were developed in close collaboration between the designer, the editor and the binder, aiming for a suggestion of the book to be read while walking. Each design and editing decision followed this idea, resulting in a specific form of reading and holding. The launch of this book will be a walking and reading session. Starting with a short presentation and reading, the authors will invite the audience to join them in a walk following the book’s premise as a prompt.
